The Rugged Obsidian 9 is a versatile, modular 9mm suppressor designed for excellent sound performance across handguns, PCCs, subguns, and other compatible hosts. Rugged's ADAPT™ Modular Technology provides two suppressor lengths in one, allowing you to choose between maximum suppression and a shorter, lighter configuration.

The Rugged Obsidian 9 combines excellent sound suppression, modular versatility, and durable construction in a suppressor optimized for 9mm firearms.
Built around Rugged's ADAPT™ Modular Technology, the Obsidian 9 can be configured in two different lengths. Use the full-length configuration when sound reduction is the priority, or remove the ADAPT module for a shorter and lighter setup.
Built for More Than Just 9mm
While optimized for 9mm, the Obsidian 9 supports several additional calibers within Rugged's published barrel-length and ammunition restrictions. Rugged currently lists compatibility including .22 LR, .38 Special, .357 Magnum, 9x39mm, .300 Blackout subsonic, .30-30 subsonic, and .350 Legend, in addition to 9mm. This versatility makes the Obsidian 9 useful across compatible semi-automatic pistols, pistol-caliber carbines, subguns and lever-action platforms, provided the appropriate mounting system is used.
Modular & User-Serviceable
The Obsidian 9 is fully user-serviceable, allowing the suppressor to be disassembled for cleaning. Rugged recommends cleaning the baffles approximately every 1,000 rounds and cleaning the piston and spring after each range trip.
Its 1.37-inch diameter is specifically suited to handgun use and is designed to work with suppressor-height sights while also allowing the suppressor to fit beneath many compatible handguards.
